Celebrate Spring! Welcome baby farm animals, delight in the new growing season in gardens and fields, and take part in colorful, family-friendly activities, all while spending time on the grounds of a historic homestead. Dance around the maypole and revel alongside Morris dancers. Paint a flower pot (additional fee, seeds included), have your face painted, and play historic games. Watch a tool sharpening demonstration and yolked steer teams in action. Gather gardening tips, self-explore interpretive trails, and go on a plant ID walk—sample some of your findings. Simple snacks will be available for purchase to roast over an outdoor fire pit. The event will take place rain or shine; some activities take place at scheduled times.
